Step Four

This is, to me, the trickiest part of this piece--at the end of the 'add five' round, go up through the first two gold beads of the first add five, pick up three gold beads, skip the center bead of the SAME 'add five' you're on, needle down through the next bead (the fourth of the group of five). Then pick up three GREEN beads and needle up through the second bead of the next five bead peak, pick up three gold beads, skip one bead, needle down through the fourth bead of that five bead complex, then alternate green and gold around!

Step Five

Now we're through with the gold beads! At the end of the last round, bring the needle up through the first two gold beads, pick up three green beads, needle through the middle green bead of the previous round, pick up three white beads, needle through the third gold bead of the last round--repeat all around.

Step Six

At the end of the last round, come up through the first two of the first group of three green beads, pick up five green beads, needle through the middle bead of the next three white beads, pick up five white beads, needle through the middle bead of the three green beads--repeat all around.

Step Seven

This is just another round exactly like the last one--you can continue this way to make the piece as big as you wish--just increase the number of added beads every couple of rounds, keeping the number odd. ENJOY!
