Push for Music
GUEST ARTIST
My son had an assignment for his homeschool science course recently, asking him to go out and view the stars and write down his feelings in prose or poetry. (This was after a unit on the solar system.) He came up with three haiku, and I'm giving him space here as my first guest poet.
THREE HAIKU
The stars seem so still
Yet they are always moving
Across the dark sky
The moon is so dead
Nothing could ever live there
In such a dull place
The sky is so large
Even a bird can't reach it
It is so far away
